Hermes Finance ("we," "our," or "us") is a financial operations agent that integrates with QuickBooks Online to manage accounting, invoicing, and financial reporting on behalf of its user.

1. Data We Access

Hermes Finance accesses the following data through the QuickBooks Online API solely for the purpose of financial management:

- Company information and settings

- Chart of accounts and balances

- Transactions (invoices, bills, payments, journal entries)

- Customer and vendor records

2. How We Use Data

All data accessed is used exclusively for:

- Automated bookkeeping and reconciliation

- Generating financial reports and summaries

- Posting journal entries for crypto, cash, and credit card transactions

- Invoice generation and management

3. Data Storage

API tokens and credentials are encrypted and stored locally on a private server. No QuickBooks data is stored externally beyond temporary processing. We do not sell, share, or distribute any financial data to third parties.

4. Security

We use OAuth 2.0 for authentication and encrypt all credentials at rest. API access tokens are refreshed automatically and never exposed.
